The survey aims mainly to follow and exhibit the speeding problem of vehicles along major highways across the country. This survey is based on a fieldwork technique covering 294 areas on major highways connecting between region to region, province to province, or amphur to amphur in order to gather data which can reflect the speeding problem on major highways in Thailand. The survey is a joint work between the ThaiRoads Foundation and the Road Safety Watch Network in partnerships with regional universities including Thailand Accident Research Center under Asian Institute of Technology, Chiangmai University, Naresuan University, Suranaree University of Technology, Burapha University, and Walailuk University.
